Villa Åkarp, Sweden's First Plus Energy House

Ms. Karin Adalberth is an expert in energy-effective building and she is a house owner of Villa Åkarp; Sweden's first Plus Energy House built in 2009.

Karin explains why she has built this house as follows; "I often compare our world to a big bank, where everyone keeps making withdrawals but nobody makes any deposits.This Plus Energy House and our way of thinking about energy is our way of giving back to mother nature.
